June 2019 Meeting – Brian McCullough – Sketching as a Way of Recording Observations

Brian McCullough of RASC Ottawa Centre will be our Guest of Honour at the club’s regular meeting on June 21. Brian will give a presentation about sketching as a way of recording observations. There will also be a workshop on sketching to follow up the meeting. The workshop will be from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturday meeting. Note that both the meeting and the workshop will be held in Room 100 of the Physics & Astronomy Building on the Western campus, NOT in the Cronyn Observatory. Parking in Springett Lot is probably more convenient than behind the Cronyn for the walk over to the Physics & Astronomy Building, but both lots should be available without having pay on Friday evening and Saturday morning.
