Heather, I suspect that one day soon you will be in a photo like that wonderful shot of all of Western's female astronomers.

Katlomas

Unfortunately yes, at least in the Thompson lot beside Cronyn Observatory. This happened just recently.

Fora 5pm event, your best bet is the Elborne College lot, which is a narrow lot right on Western Road, just north of Sarnia Rd, and across from the hockey rink. It's free after 4pm.

If Elborn College lot is full, next best are Springett Lot and then Huron Flats (further away).

Rates for Springett and Huron Flats is $1.50 per half-hour to a maximum of $12.00 for the day at 4 hours.

Note the the Elborn Lot is just a driveway with no gate. Do not enter the gated lot beside it, as this is for the Ivey Business School.

I have a long journey from my home and looking at the weather report it is doubtful I will take the chance.
It would be great if an event such as this could be held during a more clement season.
Thanks.
