Rona Star Night

Post by Gary Hinks » July 13th, 2015, 10:19 pm

Hi everyone. Sorry I have not been able to get to meetings lately-seems I'm always working or too tired. I am going to have a star party for my fellow Rona employees on July 23rd (rain date July 24th) here at my observatory on the farm. If any one else would like to come with or without a telescope to help out please consider coming out. I know I probably can't answer all the questions!! Thanks Gary Hinks

If it goes on the Thursday night, I will come out to help, Gary.

I hope to be able to give you a hand with my little telescope that night as well.
But remind me again of the road # & house location please.

Garry, if I'm in town that night I would be happy to help out. Good to hear from you again.

Hello Gary,

I am sorry but won't be able to make it to your Rona Star night tonight (July 23rd) but hope you have clear skies and that the event goes well.

Gary, I plan on arriving and setting up around 8:00, is that okay? And, is there any way to haul my 12" dob out to your observatory or should I just bring the much more portable 6" SCT?
