Hello All,

We have 7 upcoming events, including, Exploring the Stars, the Transit of Mercury (November 11th) and a Public Night, at the Cronyn Observatory for which RASC London Centre members are invited to assist by setting up amateur telescopes.

Please note that since the names of the groups are not listed on the Exploring the Stars Calendar, they are not listed in this Forum announcement.

The events are as follows:

Event: Exploring the Stars
Date: Wednesday, November 6, 2019
Time: 6:30—8:30 p.m.

Event: Transit of Mercury
Date: Monday, November 11, 2019
Time: 7:30 a.m.—1:30 p.m.

Time: 7:00—9:00 p.m.

Date: Monday, November 18, 2019
Time: 6:30—8:30 p.m.

Date: Tuesday, November 19, 2019
Time: 6:30—7:30 p.m.

Event: Exploring the Stars
Date: Monday, November 25, 2019
Time: 6:30—8:00 p.m.

Event: Cronyn Observatory Saturday Public Night
Date: Saturday, November 30, 2019
Time: 7:00—9:00 p.m.

Weekday Parking:

Parking in the Alumni / Thompson Parking Lot (beside the Cronyn Observatory and behind Alumni Hall) is NOT RECOMMENDED. Parking in the Alumni / Thompson Lot costs $1.50 / Half-Hour rising to a FLAT FEE of $21.00 after 2 hours.

Parking should be FREE in the Heating Plant Lot after 7:00 p.m. and is FREE after 4:00 p.m. in the Elborn College Parking Lot across Western Road near Sarnia Road. (However, DO NOT park in the Ivey Business School lot in front of the Ivey Business School.)

Weekend Parking:

Parking is FREE on Saturday evenings in the Alumni / Thompson (beside the Cronyn Observatory and behind Alumni Hall).

I'm working the Mercury Transit, the Nov 12th event, and the Nov 25th event. I will see which others I can volunteer at!
