UPDATE! Exploring the Stars & Cronyn Observatory Events, April 4—30, 2019

Hello All,

The following is a schedule of upcoming events, April 4th—30th, 2019, at Western University’s Cronyn Observatory, for which the RASC London Centre volunteers are invited to assist by setting up amateur telescopes. I plan to be at these events.

Please note that the event scheduled for Monday, April 15th on my previous announcement has been moved to Tuesday, April 16th, on this updated schedule. Another Daytime event for Tuesday, April 30th, has also been added here.

The names of the group names are left out of this Forum announcement, since they are not on the Exploring the Stars Calendar.

The schedule is as follows:

Event: Exploring the Stars @ Cronyn Observatory
Date: Thursday, April 4th, 2019
Time: 7:30—9:30 p.m.

Event: Public Night @ Cronyn Observatory
Date: Saturday, April 13th, 2019
Time: 8:00—10:00 p.m.

Event: Daytime Event @ Cronyn Observatory
Date: Tuesday, April 16th, 2019
Time: 10:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m.

Event: Daytime Event @ Cronyn Observatory
Date: Tuesday, April 30th, 2019
Time: 10:00 a.m. –12:00 p.m.

Parking is available in the Alumni / Thompson Parking Lot beside the Cronyn Observatory, Monday—Thursday, at $1.50 per half-hour, with a flat rate of $21.00 after 2 hours.

Parking in Huron Flats Lot is at $1.50 per half-hour to a maximum of $12.00 for the day at 4 hours.

There is also weekday FREE complimentary parking after 4:00 p.m. in the Elborn College Parking Lot on the west side of Western Road just north of Sarnia Road. (However, DO NOT park in the Ivey Business School lot in front of the Ivey Business School.)
