Hi Everyone
The weather is still showing clear for The Back to the Garden Music Festival Saturday night. Aug 18.
I have attached a couple of maps to help for finding the Jones farm.

Hi Everyone
Right now the clear sky chart and the aviation forecast are no longer showing clear skies for the Music Festival and Star Party tonight.
The forecast keeps changing.
I am still going!
I am doing a short talk at the Music Festival , I will bring my telescope just in case the forecast are wrong.
If you are going for the Music it may not hurt to bring some equipment.
Hoping for clear skies
Mike

Even though the skies were cloudy I did try to make it out just in case there was some clearing. I almost made it. According to Google Maps and the street signage I thought I was at Catherine and Hunt roads. Travelling north on Hunt , I did not see any lanes on the left , and the 911 signs were way off the address for the location. Since the skies looked overcast , I gave up and headed home. Better lucknext time. Maybe I did not go far enough.

The Back to the Garden Music Festival was an awesome event! The Music was great and it was one of the most enjoyable events we have been to in a long time.
Although it was extremely hazy us DanTremblay, Mike Roffey and I were able to show some people the first quarter moon. There were only 2 stars visible. I did do a presentation prior to our Observing session. I did touch on the subject of light pollution.
I want to thank Steve for trying to come to the event and all those who attended.
