For you Pete, taking into account all the work and hours you've put in down at the observatory, I will consider going to the rock basement price of $30 for two. Any lower and we might as well cancel the GA, and I think D2 would have words then. ;)

Making of a Magellan 8 metre mirror segment

I thought this was a pretty interesting 6 minute movie of the construction of an 8 metre segment (one of 7 segments of the final 25 metre primary mirror) - of the GMT (Giant Magellan Telescope) - wanted to share.
