Re: Rona Star Night

Hi everyone. May I say a big thank you to Peter Jedicke, Harold Tutt, Mike Roffey, Dale Armstrong, and Steve Gauthier for coming out to my star party. I wish I could have had a few more fellow employees here as well, but the ones that were here did enjoy themselves. It was really nice for me to obse...

Calendars' Availability

Hi Everyone

Just wondering if the 2018 calendars will be available at the November meeting this Friday I need to get 4 this year. Also will the price be the same as previous years? Our esteemed Treasurer Bill will probably know the best answers to these questions!

Thanks, Gary Hinks

Starfest 2018

Hi everyone

Just checking to see if any other London Centre members are planning on going to Starfest this year. I hope to arrive on Friday morning. Right now the latest forecast for both nights is looking good. Let's hope it stays that way!

Re: June 11 - Double Shadow Transit starts at 11:33 PM

Hi everyone Yes I saw it last night in the 15 inch scope-fantastic to see! Sadly with Jupiter at such a low declination the seeing was pretty bad-however at certain times you could see those inky black dots! And they were different in size too!

Clear skies, Gary Hinks
