Come join us for our next meeting on Friday, February 21st, starting at 7:30pm. Maxwell Welyhorsky will be giving us an overview of the Artemis mission, Lunar Gateway, the differences between Canadarm 1, 2, and 3, an overview of his contributions to the cameras and sensors for Canadarm3, and what AI/Autonomy means for the robotic arm. Canadarm3 is Canada’s contribution to the NASA-led Gateway and Artemis missions, and Max is an expert when it comes to cameras and sensors on the robotic remote manipulator.
Our meeting will begin at 7:30pm. You can attend in person at the Cronyn Observatory on the Western campus, or join us via Zoom at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89015777788
(or use the Zoom app with meeting ID 89015777788 with no password)

Parking reminder:
If you’re attending in person, remember to leave plenty of time to park and get to the Cronyn. As mentioned in last month’s notice, the parking lot adjacent to the observatory is now gone. Your best bets are the South Valley, Springett, and Huron Flats lots.
