Note that the access from Clarke Road has been significantly re-oriented. Where there was formerly a simple T-intersection to turn into the access road for Fanshawe Conservation Area etc., there is now a full intersection with a traffic light and a new “arm” of the intersection that is called Veterans’ Memorial Parkway. One way or another, you still need to drive along the same access road to approach the entrance booth.
I think the entrance booth will be un-crewed on Friday evening for this event, so just drive through and cross the dam. That leads straight to the main compound for Fanshawe Pioneer Village. The driveway is a loop, so don’t worry if you think you’re on the wrong part of the driveway, just keep moving and you’ll end up in front of the (fairly new) administration building and community hall. The telescopes will be set up in front of this building, or indoors in case of inclement weather.
