Eight London Centre members turned out for the clear skies at the Michell Hepburn Public School Star Party in St. Thomas. On Thursday evening, May 19th, RASC London Centre member Dave McCarter traveled to Camp Sylvan to present his digital slide presentation "Constellations” to 26 Grade-6 children and 8 adults from a Sarnia school.
RASC London Centre member Dave McCarter spent the day from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at John Dearness Public School doing solar observing and talking to students about our dependency on the Sun.
There were 6 RASC London Centre members who assisted with the Cherry Hill Village Mall Astronomy Display, Saturday, May 12th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including Rick Saunders, Dave McCarter, Peter Jedicke, Harold Tutt, Phil Marusaik and Charlie Barbara, with his meteorite collection.
